Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota) is an American singer/songwriter, author, musician and poet who has been a major figure in popular music for five decades. Much of Dylan ’s most celebrated work dates from the 1960s, when he became an informal chronicler and a reluctant figurehead of American unrest. A number of his songs, such as “Blowin’ In The Wind” and “The Times They Are A-Changin’”, became anthems of the anti-war and civil rights movements. His most recent studio album, Modern Times, released on August 29, 2006, entered the U.S. album charts at number one, making him, at age 65, the oldest living person to top those charts. It was later named Album of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine. Blonde on Blonde was his seventh studio album released in 1966 and features Bob Dylan (vocals, guitar, harmonica and piano); Al Kooper (organ, guitar, horn and keyboards); Robbie Robertson (guitar and vocals); Joe South (guitar); Rick Danko (bass, violin and vocals); Bill Atkins (keyboards); Wayne Butler (trombone); Kenneth A. Buttrey (drums); Paul Griffin (piano); Garth Hudson (keyboards and saxophone); Jerry Kennedy (guitar); Sanford Konikoff (drums); Richard Manuel (drums, keyboards and vocals); Wayne Moss (guitar, vocals); Hargus “Pig” Robbins (piano and keyboards); Henry Strzelecki (bass); Charlie McCoy (bass, guitar, harmonica and trumpet). Blonde on Blonde is believed to be the first double album in rock music.

The album is on CBS Records, 66012. Matrix side one: S 66012 A3 and S 66021-A3 (stamped). Matrix side two: SDDP 66012 B1  (stamped). Matrix side three: SBPG 66012 C3 (stamped). Matrix side two: S 66012 D2  (stamped).
Originally released in 1966. UK pressing. Stereo.
Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under a very strong light)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (a few light superficial marks can be seen that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (a few light superficial marks can be seen that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Vinyl side 3: excellent (a few light superficial marks can be seen that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Vinyl side 4: excellent (a few light superficial marks can be seen that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Cover (outer laminated, gatefold): excellent (very slight feathering of opening edge, has one or two small light laminate creases - see photos).
Comes with the original CBS advertising (Andy Williams!) inner sleeves in excellent condition.
The record plays great with no jumps, skips or clicks and minimal crackle.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
