Really clean and glossy. No rips or writing. Flipbacks all nice and intact.
VINYL VISUALLY GRADES AS EX
There are light surface scratches, generally caused by removing and returning the LPs to the paper sleeves.
Bright, glossy and clean.
VINYL PLAY TEST GRADES AS EX
A really great listen. With amp EQ set to flat, the sound is beautifully rich and warm, with clear, glassy trebles.
This is how Dylan wanted you to hear it - which is why he personally spent weeks mixing it.
There are some inevitable crackles and a few light clicks.
Side 4, which is quieter sounds beautiful. Three light clicks. A little static crackle at the start.
Would DEFINITELY BE IMPROVED BY A DEEP CLEAN!

I play test all my LPs - unless they are brand new and sealed.
I grade conservatively and honestly, as I am a long-time record collector and get tired of buying LPs that are not 'as described'.
There will be super light surface scratches, generally caused by paper sleeves. If they do not affect the sound, I don't class them as a fault.
Any scratches that aren't super-light surface ones will be mentioned, as will any clicks, pops or other intrusive noise.
Any writing or sticker marks will also be mentioned, along with serious creases, ring wear, spindle tracks or seam splits.
I don't clean my records prior to sending them out, as everyone has their own methods, and, for me at least, cleaning up a dusty old LP is part of the fun of collecting! I also don't have my old machine!
I pack the LPs well, out of the sleeve, in proper mailers.
