THIS IS AN ORIGINAL MONO
VERSION OF THIS SEMINAL 1966 ALBUM. THE STEREO VERSION AS EVEREYBODY KNOWS HAS SEVERAL DIFFERENT MIXES ON IT NOTABLY ON "MOST LIKELY YOU'LL GO YOUR WAY AND I'LL GO MINE" & "FOURTH TIME AROUND" AND THERE ARE TIMING DIFFERENCES IN SOME OF THE TRACKS.
THERE ARE VARIOUS CHARACTERISTICS TO WATCH OUT FOR TO MAKE SURE IT IS A UK FIRST PRESSING AND I WILL LIST THESE
1. MOST IMPORTANTLY THE LABEL HAS 33 ON IT AFTER 1966 CBS REVERTED TO 33 1/3 ON THE LABEL
2. MATRIX MARKS ARE A1 B1 C1 D1
3. THE ORANGE INNER LABEL IS MATT NOT GLOOSY AS THE LATER ONES WERE
4. THE LABELS NOT ONLY HAVE THE CAT. NO. DDP 66012 BUT ALSO THE CBS CL NUMBER IN THIS CASE (CL 2516 - 2517).
5. THE INNER SLEEVES ARE AS IN THE PHOTO (ONE IS A REPLACEMENT) AND NOT LATER CBS SLEEVES.
6. THE INNER FLIPOVER GATEFOLD SLEEVE HAS 9 PHOTOS. CLAUDIA CARDINALE WERE SUBSEQUENTLY REMOVED AS PERMISSION WASN'T GIVEN FOR THE USE OF THE IMAGE(S)
THIS 2 RECORD SET HAS ALL THE ABOVE FEATURES MAKING IT A GENUINE FIRST UK 1966 PRESSING
THE SLEEVE HAS A COUPLE OF LIGHT THUMB CREASES AND A SMALL SCUFF ON THE REAR BUT NOTHINF SERIOUS. STRONG SPINE WITH ONLY MINIMAL CORNERWEAR AT THE BOTTOM. NO TEARS NO WRITING SO EXCELLENT
I WILL GRADE THE DISCS BY EACH SIDE IN TURN. WHILE THERE ARE SCUFFS AND THE ODD HAIRLINE/SCRATCH THE DISCS ARE GRADED AURALLY AND NOT BY VISUAL INSPECTION SO IF IN DOUBT DON'T BID!!. THIS IS WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE

NEAR MINT audio inspection has revealed no scratches or scuffs on the playing surface. The record may have been played but is undamaged. The jacket will be clean and unmarked with only the slightest wear.
EXCELLENT audio inspection has revealed no sounding scratches on the playing surface, but there may be a few light crackles. The jacket might have slight wear and/or creasing or fading.
VERY GOOD audio inspection has revealed some light scratches and/or heavier scuffs that will leave tics/crackle. The jacket might have creasing or other defects which will be pointed out in the listing.
