Description
Here is a rare UK first pressing of Bob Dylan's brilliant Blonde on Blonde on first press stereo vinyl. This double album set features first day pressing '33' textured labels and the rarely seen STEREO logo on the front of the iconic gatefold sleeve. Both labels are in fine unmarked condition with no unwanted writing and only light spindle marks, indicating little play over the years. Both discs are in strong VG condition with only light marks to be seen when examined under strong halogen lighting. Matrices are A1/B1/C1 and D1. All four sides play all the way through in gorgeous first press stereo with no skips or jumps, and only infrequent and barely audible light ticks here and there. The outer laminated flipback gatefold sleeve is also in strong VG condition with some light creasing here and there and an area of light damage to the laminate on the top right flipback (see photo). The unlaminated inner gatefold with its display of monochrome snaps remains clean and unspoilt. This double album set comes complete with its correct CBS period advertising inner sleeves, both of which remain unsplit. Good luck if you are bidding - and don't forget to check out my other items.
