Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP
WILDLY RARE Pitman US military pressing from 197? on Columbia with 1J/1G matrix suffixes stamped in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two, no printer code on the rear cover and "For Sale Only Aboard Navy Ships Afloat" military tag in the top right hand corner on the rear cover!!! I have had well over 50 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 45 years of collecting and selling and I have never seen this naval pressing before. THAT'S how you know it's rare. LP is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs. Cover is VG/VG- with some edge wear and a small name in pen in the bottom left hand corner on the rear. Don't sleep Dylan collectors. If you've never seen it before you won't see it again.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
