BOB DYLAN's "Biograph" a 1985 Japanese "promotional sample" 5-LP box set, featuring 53 tracks including 21 rare & previously unreleased recordings from 1961 to 1981. Each disc is housed in a custom sleeve with notes on the songs by Bob himself. Also included is a beautifully illustrated 36-page colour booklet with an extensive essay by Cameron Crowe & an additional 40-page booklet with lyrics & Japanese translations of the essay & notes, all presented in a sample stickered 12" square picture box complete with the original top card obi-strip. "Promo Sample" is printed on each vnyl label in Japanese Kanji. The packaging & the vinyl discs appear Near Mint. Catalog number CBS/SONY OOAP-3136~40. A must for all Dylan fans.
