Description
BOB DYLAN Blonde On Blonde 1968 UK CBS *STEREO* NR MINT AUDIO
PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY & CLEANLY THROUGHOUT - VERY NICE COPY
BOB DYLANBlonde On Blonde
UK CBS (DDP 66012) 1968 *STEREO* PRESSING OF DYLAN'S LEGENDARY "Blonde On Blonde" DOUBLE LP SET
EASILY IDENTIFIABLE AS THE 1968 ISSUE AS THE COVER IS A *MONO* SHELL WITH A WHITE *STEREO* STICKER (on later issues the sticker was Gold), THE 33⅓ SPEED INDICATION IS PRINTED SMALLER THAN ON THE 1967 EDITION AND THE RECORDS ARE HOUSED IN TWO 1967/8 DIE-CUT CBS ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVES
RECORD ONE: The labels are smooth with "BLONDE ON BLONDE" below "BOB DYLAN", the record speed is printed as "33⅓" and Track Two, Side Two is entitled "Memphis Blues Again"
RECORD TWO: The labels are smooth with "BLONDE ON BLONDE" below "BOB DYLAN" and the record speed is printed as "33⅓"
MATRIX NUMBERS: S 66012-A3 / SDDP 66012-B1 / SBPG 66012-C3 / S- 66012-D2
THE TWO RECORDS ARE HOUSED IN THE OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH INTERNAL FLIPBACKS AND NINE PHOTOS (with Track Two, Side Two entitled "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With Thee")
AND THE SET COMES COMPLETE WITH THE TWO ORIGINAL AND CORRECT CBS *MONO* DIE-CUT ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVES - DATING FROM 1967/8
SIDE 1: RAINY DAY WOMEN # 12 & 35 / PLEDGING MY TIME / VISIONS OF JOHANNA / ONE OF US MUST KNOW
SIDE 2: I WANT YOU / STUCK INSIDE OF MOBILE WITH THE MEMPHIS BLUES AGAIN / LEOPARD-SKIN PILL-BOX HAT / JUST LIKE A WOMAN
SIDE 3: MOST LIKELY YOU GO YOUR WAY AND I'LL GO MINE / TEMPORARY LIKE ACHILLES / ABSOLUTELY SWEET MARIE / 4th TIME AROUND / OBVIOUSLY 5 BELIEVERS
SIDE 4: SAD EYED LADY OF THE LOWLANDS
LABELS: EXCELLENT+
Bright, unmarked Orange labels with a dozen or so (max) spindle traces
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
All four vinyl surfaces are clean, practically unmarked and shine like new
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
My play-check at loud volume revealed just three brief clicks on "Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands" - these follow each other in rapid succession and are over in a split second (no evidence for these on the vinyl surface at this point) otherwise, the sound performance throughout the rest of the set is flawless
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Good and solid with very little edge or spine wear. The outer laminated surfaces are clean with just some half-moon creases to the laminate towards the opening edges front and back and the inner surfaces are unmarked with no damage to the flipback sections
INNER SLEEVES: EXCELLENT
Both inner sleeves are clean with no seam splits
ALL RECORDS ARE PACKAGED WITH THE VINYL OUTSIDE OF THE SLEEVE TO PREVENT ANY 'KNIFING' DURING TRANSIT
A PROTECTIVE POLY SLEEVE, NEW INNER SLEEVES WITH ANTI-STATIC LINERS, QUALITY BOX (NOT ENVELOPE) MAILER AND AMPLE STIFFENERS ARE ALWAYS USED TO ENSURE THAT YOUR RECORD ARRIVES SAFELY
