'Blonde on Blonde'
(1966)
Bob Dylan gatefold double LP
This is an original 1966 first pressing of 'Blonde on Blonde by Bob Dylan, a very rare record.
Includes the gatefold sleeve in fairly good condition, two orange inner sleeves only included in this early pressing, and two 12" LPs both with 1/1 matrix endings, indicating the age and therefore rarity of the item.
The gatefold laminate sleeve has some minor creases around the edges, and some wear to the corners and edges, but is otherwise in good condition especially when considering the age of the item. The two original orange inner sleeves are in similarly good condition, aside from slight fading and wear to the edges.
The records themselves have clearly been used both having a few small scratches on either side. We have (machine) cleaned and played the records. There is some crackling as would reasonably be expected from vinyl that has been well used.
There are a couple of audible scratches (not excessive).
Our friendly record buff advises us to mention that the label says "33" and not "33 1/3" and that the outer sleeve has flipbacks.
This record would normally sell for upwards of £80 in mint condition, making £50 a very reasonable price given the fair condition of this record.
