This is a RARE MONO FIRST PRESSING of DYLAN's 1966 DOUBLE ALBUM ROCK & ROLL MASTERPIECE! This features the inside photos of CLAUDIA CARDINALE and the other "girl" that were quickly taken off the market! This LP includes many masterpieces! Music scholars, Rock & Roll Lovers and us total DYLAN heads point to his 1965-66 triumvirate of "BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME", "HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED" and "BLONDE ON BLONDE" as the GREATEST ROCK & ROLL music ever recorded! And you'll get no argument from these quarters. But, honestly, until you have heard this music in the original HIGH FIDELITY/MONO mixes you have not heard the true majesty of these recordings! DYLAN described this music quite accurately as that "wild thin mercury music"! There is a raw power, a barely controlled energy and a tightness of focus in the aural assault of these records that is absolutely lost in the stereo versions. You really have to hear the original mono mixes to truly appreciate what BOB has created with these three albums! So, dig this! And, dig it deeply! This record PLAYS FANTASTIC! This record is in EXCELLENT condition! May have a few tiny signs of wear on the cover and/or a few slight paper scuffs on the vinyl. Plays perfectly. EXCELLENT or STRONG VG++: light use is evident. The beginnings of ring wear will be evident on the cover and some surface scuffs will appear on the vinyl, BUT record will play with no background noise. VG++: use is evident but not bad. Cover has ring wear and vinyl has noticeable surface wear. Should play with NO surface noise during the music. VG+: average used record, looks OK, plays OK. No surface noise is noticeable during the music. Some surface noise is possible during quiet passages. VG: Cover shows more than normal wear and vinyl shows more than normal wear.
