Description
Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).
I try to be one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically using the UK RRPG standards as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. Be sure to add me to your favourite sellers list and check my auctions frequently as i'll be listing some gems that you just WON'T want to miss out on!!!
I think that's everything, so let the auction commence!!!

That's about all I can do right now!!! You really don't want to miss out on this LP, a TRUE pioneering classic to this very day!!!
Die hard fans will be pleased to hear that this is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MIX TO THE CD AND VINYL REISSUES!!! It sounds exceptionally special with plenty of extra things, such as more instruments on Fourth Time Around, LOUD kick-drum on Sad Eyed Lady..., and even a longer outro on Temporary Like Achilles to name but a few things I noticed!!! The final album in the Bringing It All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited trilogy of unrivalled brilliance, and it truly is Dylan at his very best!!!
About : Ultra Rare Original 1966 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible songwriter and his band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! If you like good music, bid now!!!
The LP :
Labels :
Classic UK 1st Press "33" Orange CBS labels!!! All sides are GREAT with minimal signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has some light spindle marks from general use over the years!!! BRILLIANT for a 60 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Good++++!!!
Record : Visual -
Spectacular Original 1966 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if they were just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, they look GOOD with NO overly excessively nasty marks, NO catastrophic scratches that would ruin playback, and NO overly nasty vicious scuffs either!!! It just has a bit of general age wear such as a few of the usual light, wispy sleeve traces, some obvious but still fairly mild careless stylus scratches (some ticks on rare occasions but no skips whatsoever), and a few relatively mild hairlines (only visible in angled light) mostly from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, aside from some clicks here and there none of these blemishes interfere with play thanks to the quality deeply pressed 1st issue, and they CERTAINLY don't effect the smoothness of it's playing!!! Used, but still GREAT for a record of this age and rarity!!! And thankfully, it sounds BRILLIANT and free of the usual distortion!!! Must grade overall visually at least as Fair++++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Record : Audio -
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo seperation and clarity!!! It really sounds great with NO hops, hisses, distortion, sticks, or skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has low level static in places such as on the run in grooves, a few ticks here and there on occasions (most obvious on Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat and first quarter of Just Like A Woman - nothing overly jarring or ear splitting) and a hint of mild and light "bluesman's fag" static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections, but it truly doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! An AWESOME listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! Absolutely essential!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Sleeve :
Original 1966 UK 1st Press laminated flipback stereo-stamped withdrawn Claudia Cardinale photo gatefold sleeve complete with original advertisement inners (ultra clean strong and vibrant with just some usual neat hard to notice splits to some of the stress points - almost always torn creased up and stained, not the case here)!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO tears, NO writing OR graffiti, NO dulling, NO bad marks AT ALL, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few minor signs of ageing such as just a small amount of ultra light creases and the merest hint of a record imprint, a few minor storage scuffs and some thin seam splits to the very centre of the top (the only thing stopping this grade higher - nothing drastic, easily missable and hard to notice), a few minor touches of laminate glazing from where it has sat between sleeves over the years (remarkably clean and vibrant after all these decades), a touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can possibly find, but this is an OUTSTANDING sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as incredible as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! The colours are as vibrant as the day it was pressed and the artwork looks AWESOME - and even the unlaminated inside is magnificent with next to NO ageing whatsoever!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Good++++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Summary : A used, but BRILLIANT sounding beautifully presentable example of this IMPOSSIBLY RARE EARLIEST EVER Stereo 1966 UK 1st Press of possibly his most celebrated LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but ULTRA RARE TO FIND ONE AS SONICALLY AWESOME AS THIS!!! YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
