BOB DYLAN
Title : Blonde On Blonde Label : CBS Catalogue No : DDP 66012 Matrix : A1/B1/C1/D1
Issue : Rare Complete UK 1st '33' Press
This is the UK 1st Press of 'Blonde On Blonde' by Bob Dylan. This extremely rare 1st press is complete with the earliest A1/B1/C1/D1 matrix and it has the very first '33' instead of '33 1/3' label text. The labels are the very earliest textured orange, the records are complete with their original CBS advertising inner sleeves and the records are in the very earliest laminated gatefold flipback sleeve.
The records are in Good condition. The records still have a high gloss, there is no whitening, but these records have been well played and have many very light marks on all sides. They do play through well but there is some noise throughout, but there are no skips and no jumps and no distortion. Because this is the earliest release, pressed on the earliest heavy vinyl, the sound quality is still good enough to listen and enjoy.
The textured orange CBS labels are in Very Good condition. The orange is extremely bright and unworn and the black text is very sharp. There is only the very slightest spindle wear and a small name on one side of each record. The records are complete with the original CBS advertising inner sleeves. They are extremely bright and completely clean.
The earliest laminated flipback gatefold is in Very Good condition. The laminate has a superb polished shine and the picture is still very bright and completely unfaded. There is s split on the bottom edge and light edge wear. The inside is superb. The pictures and text are sharp and the white is bright with just the slightest discolouration and the flipbacks are sealed and complete. The whole sleeve is still lovely and solid and the spine has sharp text.
