This is the UK 1st press of Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan. This earliest press is complete with the rare matt textured ’33’ sleeves.the earliest matrix, the original CBS advertising inner sleeves and laminated flipback gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is exceptionally glossy and is still jet black, there is no whitening of the grooves or signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of small marks and a few wispy hairlines. The labels are also very clean and bright with only the slightest spindle wear.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There are moments of light noise in places but these are only slight, the sound is rich, warm and clear. There is Excellent clarity and separation throughout.
The original CBS advertising inner sleeves are in sensational condition. The orange is bright, the white is clean and the sleeves are solid with firm edges.
The earliest laminated, flipback, gatefold sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The laminate is exceptionally glossy, the colours are rich and warm and the picture is sharp. The inside is like new, it is in fabulous condition. There is very faint ring wear and a couple of tiny laminate creases. The spine is firm with sharp text and the whole sleeve is in rare superb condition.
