Other Label & Sleeve notes: 360 SOUND Columbia RED Two-Eye MONO. 2LP Gatefold Sleeve with the photos of Claudia Cardinale and Jerry Schatzberg. These photos were quickly withdrawn and replaced with Dylan Photos on later pressings.

CONDITION:
COVER is SOLID VG+ (very light ring wear and minor creasing)

VINYL is VG++ (Excellent gloss with some very minor scuffs; plays like NM). Nice, heavy vinyl. Fantastic condition, considering the age and rarity.

Blonde on Blonde is American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan's seventh studio album, released May 1966 by Columbia Records.

The album is believed to be the first significant double album in rock music,[4] its length forcing it to two LPs. It is notable for injecting Dylan's brand of blues rock, fully established on Highway 61 Revisited, with a more eclectic sound and even more surreal lyrics. It also marked the end of an era for Dylan, who would soon be involved in a motorcycle accident, significantly changing his musical approach.

Recorded in Nashville, the album was produced by Bob Johnston. It peaked at #9 on Billboard's Pop Albums chart in the US, eventually going double-platinum, while it reached #3 in the UK. It is ranked as the ninth greatest album of all time by both VH1 and Rolling Stone. -WIKIPEDIA

GRADING:

Grading is done visually and with playing. Vinyl grading is based on the Goldmine Trade Magazine standard and is as follows:

M: Mint. No used record will be considered mint.

NM:  Is the highest grading.  Record should look unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks. NM covers have no creases, ring wear or seam splits of any kind.

VG+:  Record may have a few minor marks or surface scuffs. A good description of a VG+ Record is “except for a couple of minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking.

VG:  Record will have light scratches, noticable marks, and surface noise may be apparent. VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail.

VG-/G:  Record is rough and may be beat up a little bit. It has significant surface noise and groove wear. The label is worn and exhibits significant ring wear, heavy writing or obvious damage caused by trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably.

A Good to VG- cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.

All 12” records will be shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers within 3 business days of confirmed payment. The discs will be placed in their dust sleeves outside the cover to prevent seam split damage. Additional padding will ensure that your record does not slide around during transit.
