A first issue 1966 UK stereo copy in original condition, featuring:

1. first issue 1966 UK, ‘stereo arrowed logo’ sleeve,

2. first issue 1966 UK ‘flip back’ sleeve,

3. the track title, ‘Stuck inside of mobile with the Memphis blues again’, has been mis printed. On the sleeve and on the record label, this track title appears as just, ‘Memphis blues again’,

4. first issue 1966 UK record labels with just, ‘33’ printed, missing the ‘1/3’ text,

5. first issue 1966 UK ‘San Serif’ font, record labels,

6. first issue 1966 UK ‘textured’ and ‘ridged’ record labels,

7. first issue 1966 UK stereo record matrix, of, A1, B1, C1 and D1.

8. comes with its two original first issue 1966 UK period, ‘CBS’ advertising inner sleeves.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front and rear of the sleeve is laminated. The four opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The spine is in excellent condition and it has remained clean and strong and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. When the ‘gate fold’ sleeve is opened the earliest first issue UK 1966 ‘flip backs’, ie ‘fold over’ edges, can be seen, top and bottom. The inside of the ‘gate fold’ sleeve has remained very white and clean. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVES: comes with its two original first issue UK 1966 period ‘CBS’ Orange advertising inner sleeves. One inner sleeve is in excellent++ condition, the two opening edges have remained super clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to this inner sleeve. The other inner sleeve is also in excellent++ condition, the two opening edges have remained super clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to this inner sleeve.

THE RECORDS: record one, side one is in near excellent condition. Side two is in excellent condition. Record two, side one, tracks one and five are in excellent+ condition, tracks two, three and four are in very good+ condition. Side two, for approximately the first three minutes of play, is in very good++ condition, the rest of side two is in excellent++ condition. The records are made from the period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The records have remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix are: record one, side one, SDDP 66012 A1, also the numbers of, ‘27’, I think it is, are engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove. Side two, SDDP 66012 B1, also the numbers / letters of ‘1TO’, I think it is, are engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove.

Record two, side one, SDDP 66012 C1, also the letter, ‘B’, I think it is, is engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove. Side four, SDDP 66012 D1, also the numbers / letters of ‘R1’, I think it is, are engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove.

THE AUDIO: record one, side one, plays excellent with some light ‘crackle’. Side two plays excellent with some light ‘crackle’. Record two, side three, track one and five plays excellent+, tracks two, three and four play very good+ with some light ‘ticks’. Side four, for approximately the first three minutes of play the audio is very good++, it plays with some light ‘ticks’, the rest of side two plays excellent++. Each record plays with a full powerful, period stereo sound. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.
