BOB DYLAN: Blood on the tracks, UK CBS 69097 (1974)

Original UK issue with orange CBS labels, David Oppenheim illustration and Peter Hammill liner notes on rear of cover and maroon card inner. CBS S-69097-A2 / CBS S-69097- B2 matrices stamped in dead wax. 

Vinyl looks hardly marked and hardly played. Plays close to mint.  

Sleeve and plain purple card inner with CBS 69097 bottom left have minimal wear. Record has been kept in an anti-static sleeve which has minimised any damge from card inner.

Records are visually graded under a bright light using Record Collector guidelines unless stated. Any obvious visual defects will be checked. Where necessary, records may have been cleaned using a VPI professional record cleaning machine. Details of the grading system are given at the bottom of this listing; + and – are used when the condition is slightly above or below the grade given.

Buyer pays for cost of postage and packing from United Kingdom. Records will be posted in custom mailers with stiff cardboard reinforcement to avoid damage to the record in transit. All 12" records will be sent using box mailers, not envelope ones. Records will be shipped in protective polythene covers & discs removed from sleeves to avoid splitting in transit. Proof of postage is obtained on all items at the time of posting.

All packets are insured against loss up to a value of £20. UK orders over £20 will be sent "Royal Mail Signed For" (a small additional cost) and International orders over £20 will be sent via “International Signed For” service (approximately £5 extra) to be fully insured.

For larger orders, postage and packing is charged at cost, depending on the weight of the parcel. Significant savings on postage costs can sometimes be made by purchase of multiple items.

Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2016 grading system
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
