HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY 'ONE OFF' WEDNESDAY NIGHT AUCTIONS (ENDING LATE WEDNESDAY 20TH APRIL / EARLY THURSDAY 21ST!)!!!!
As many people may already know, I usually end all my items on Sunday nights (and these will still continue!)!!!! However as I had quite a few extra items of UTMOST RARITY come in to me this week (they really are TOP QUALITY, and NOT cheap overstock!) and completely ran out of time to list them last Sunday - I decided to do a 'one off' set of listings of Wednesday auctions ending on Wednesday 20th April!!!! On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Bob Dylan called "Bringing It All Back Home" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' CBS label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF BOB DYLAN'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1965 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (LIKE THIS!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED!!!! AS A RESULT, IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS QUITE LITERALLY, THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE (ALL LATER ONES ARE VERY DIFFERENT!)!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! I WILL NOW EXPLAIN THE ALL IMPORTANT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAILS BELOW:-
FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS 'FULLY TEXTURED' LABELS WITH '33' LABEL TEXT (LATER ONES DONT!), AND A MUCH 'THICKER' CBS BLOCK LOGO ON THE LABELS (LATER ONES ARE THINNER!)!!!! SECONDLY THE LABELS HAVE A TINY CENTRAL RIDGE AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES (LATER ONES ARE MUCH LARGER AND EXTEND OUTSIDE OF THE CBS CENTRAL LOGO!)!!!! THIRDLY THE COVER IS EXTREMELY THICK IN CONSTRUCTION (LATER ONES ARE THINNER!), MADE BY 'E.J.DAY' (LATER ONES ARENT!), AND HAS HUGE FLIPBACKS (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!! AND LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE MONO MATRIX ENDINGS END IN 1L/1 AND 2L/1 (THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE!) - WHICH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO ANY OTHER LATER PRESSING!!!! AND THIS IS TREMENDOUSLY IMPORTANT!!!! BECAUSE ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY!) - WERE EVER MADE WITH THESE ULTRA RARE 1L/1 2L/1 MATRIXES, BEFORE THEY WERE IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO HIGHER NUMBERS (2 OR 3), AND THEN SOON AFTERWARDS THEY WERE CHANGED AGAIN TO THE VERY COMMON 1A-1/1B-1 MATRIXES WHICH ALL LATER COPIES HAD!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP, THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET - AND ALMOST NEVER SEEN!!!!BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSING!!!! 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR 'IN-HOUSE' USE BY CBS THEMSELVES (FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES), SENT TO RADIO STATIONS OR REVIEWERS AT THE TIME (FOR PROMOTION), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!! THEY WERE NEARLY ALWAYS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE (AS IN THIS CASE!) - AND ARE NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! AND IN THIS CASE I HAVE PERFECT HISTORY WITH THIS LP - AND I KNOW THAT THIS 'FACTORY SAMPLE' IS 100% GENIUNE (SEE BELOW)!!!! BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST BOB DYLAN LPs EVER MADE!!!!
BUT NOT ONLY THAT - BUT FOR ONCE I HAVE PERFECT HISTORY WITH THIS LP!!!! THE ONE PREVIOUS OWNER WORKED AT CBS IN THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT (PROMOTING RELEASES) - AND OBVIOUSLY SAW MANY MANY LPs!!!! THIS PARTICULAR LP WAS USED IN CBS FOR 'IN HOUSE USE' (NO DOUBT FOR REFERENCE PRIOR TO RELEASE) AND WAS TAKEN HOME BY HIM AFTER IT HAD BEEN FINISHED WITH. AND IT WAS SELECTED - BECAUSE IT WAS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, AND USED FOR APPROVAL AT THE FACTORY!!!! BUT WHAT ALSO POINTS TO THIS BEING A 100% GENIUNE PROMOTIONAL 1ST PRESSING - WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE, IS THE INNER SLEEVE!!!! THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK ON 'MARCH 22nd 1965' - AND AS YOU WOULD EXPECT, THIS LP HAS AN '25' (FEBRUARY 1965) 'DATE CODING' ON THE INNER SLEEVE, CLEARLY SHOWING THAT IT WAS MADE OVER 1 MONTH PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE (SEE PICTURES!)!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS LP IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE, IS A 100% GENIUNE 'FACTORY SAMPLE', AND IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE ALL TIME RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!!

This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BPG 62515 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press CBS label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light hairline traces (the VERY lightest possible, ONLY visible under VERY bright light, and completely NON sounding!), NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press '25' Date Coded inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, NO splits, only a VERY few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rips, NO tears, STUNNING shiny laminate, only 1 ULTRA light (and almost INVISIBLE!) indentation trace towards the right, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! SUPERB COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
