PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL THIS IS THE EARLIEST 1965 UK PRESSING WITH THE DEEP ORANGE CBS LABELS (WHICH ARE HEAVILY TEXTURED) WITH '33' SPEED INDICATION AND "BLOSSOM MUSIC" CREDIT
THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE AGAIN, THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE:
SIDE ONE: 62515 - 3A - 1 (with an "A" at the 6 o'clock position to the matrix)
SIDE TWO: 62515 - 2B - 1 (with an "A" and '35' at the 6 o'clock position to the matrix)
AND THE LP IS HOUSED IN THE FIRST ISSUE, FRONT LAMINATED TRI- FLIPBACK SLEEVE “Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London.”
AND IT'S COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL ISSUE WHITE POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE WITH "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN", UK PATENT NUMBER AND 'FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING' GREY/SILVER TEXT (it was too early for the orange CBS company inners which were first used in 1966)

ALL THESE CHARACTERISTICS CONFIRM THAT THIS IS THE EARLIEST PRESSING RELEASED IN THE UK IN MAY 1965

With Another Side of Bob Dylan, Dylan had begun pushing past folk, and with Bringing It All Back Home, he exploded the boundaries, producing an album of boundless imagination and skill.
And it's not just that he went electric, either, rocking hard on "Subterranean Homesick Blues," "Maggie's Farm," and "Outlaw Blues"; it's that he's exploding with imagination throughout the record.
After all, the music on its second side -- the nominal folk songs -- derive from the same vantage point as the rockers, leaving traditional folk concerns behind and delving deep into the personal.
And this isn't just introspection, either, since the surreal paranoia on "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" and the whimsical poetry of "Mr. Tambourine Man" are individual, yet not personal.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg, really, as he writes uncommonly beautiful love songs ("She Belongs to Me," "Love Minus Zero/No Limit") that sit alongside uncommonly funny fantasias ("On the Road Again," "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream").
This is the point where Dylan eclipses any conventional sense of folk and rewrites the rules of rock, making it safe for personal expression and poetry, not only making words mean as much as the music, but making the music an extension of the words.
A truly remarkable album.

SIDE 1: SUBTERRANEAN HOMESICK BLUES / SHE BELONGS TO ME / MAGGIE'S FARM / LOVE MINUS ZERO-NO LIMIT / OUTLAW BLUES / ON THE ROAD AGAIN / BOB DYLAN'S 115th DREAM
SIDE 2: MR TAMBOURINE MAN / GATES OF EDEN / IT'S ALRIGHT MA (I'm Only Bleeding) / IT'S ALL OVER NOW, BABY BLUE

LABELS: The labels are clean, bright, fresh and unmarked. There are some light spindles (not excessive) but no hole wear - this copy has not been over-played at all
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and have a beautiful lustre. There are some light and superficial scuff marks on the edge of Side two but these are purely cosmetic and have no real audio consequence - the playback is fantastic
VINYL Audio: Sensational Mono audio delivery - crystal clear, warm, rich and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing) there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps, barley any clicks or pops (hardly any and none which rise above background or are worthy of a special mention) and no real surface noise. This is a great copy and the whole LP plays beautifully throughout with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is strictly graded EXCELLENT(+) for audio - sounds great
SLEEVE: The original tri-flipback sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition (at least). The front laminate has a beautiful unrubbed deep glossy sheen and the unlaminated back is remarkably clean with no marks/writing. There whole sleeve is crisp and sharp with no creasing and no storage rubbing to the edges and the spine displays all text clear and bold. Lovely example of this original sleeve
