Description
BOB DYLAN - Like A Rolling Stone pt. 1 & 2 acetate 7"(1965)
- Two sided acetate with Like A Rolling Stone split into two parts over sides A and B. This is to accommodate the limited run time of a 45 rpm single. Probably the Tom Wilson Part I and Part II edit.
- No labels, has hand written yellow wax marker on both sides (see pictures).
- Disc comes in a manilla card envelope with a red label on either side. Both labels are the same and have 'Bob Dylan Like A Rolling Stone' written on them in black marker pen (see pic).
- Manilla envelope is in good condition. Has been sellotaped down each side and this has yellowed (as shown in picture).
- As acetates can degrade with play, we have not played it fully (merely checked a few seconds each side to check it is the Dylan single) so grading is on a visual basis only. The surfaces look VG (for an acetate I would even say a nice VG). There are no deep scratches and the only scuff/ 'scratch' marks are hairline at worst and look superficial. The few seconds of play sounded fine, minor crackles only (again, far better than you would normally expect of an acetate).
A very rare find indeed! An absolute must for any serious collector.
