The best-organized Dylan retrospective ever done up to this time, the Japanese/Australian Masterpieces (never released outside the Far East) spends three discs thoroughly presenting Dylan's best work from 1962 to 1976, including several rare singles never before released on an album.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire this great album in its finest audio format, no longer in print, and no longer easily obtainable.

The PROMOTIONAL, RADIO STATION-, AUDITION OR DEMONSTRATION COPIES AND RELEASES (such as the one we have here) were often distributed among the radio stations before the record was released to the public, sometimes as much as four months ahead. These records are generally considered to be the "first among equals", which is to say the VERY FIRST generation and the VERY FIRST pressings of the particular title; a PROTOTYPE and the earliest known official pressing of the record.

(a)          THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY, PERFECTLY MINT,  as if never played before. The original luster is totally intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles like brand new. The labels look perfect, simply gorgeous, with absolutely no trace of wear around the spindle hole. The record is TOTAL PERFECTION - ABSOLUTE VISUAL NIRVANA! We are confident that, in this condition, the record we present here is truly once-in-a-lifetime find.

(b)          The album comes with the original Japanese only booklet (we do not believe that Australian pressings came with the booklet)

(c)           The album comes with the original Japanese POSTER

(d)          The album comes with the original,  limited edition, numbered Bob Dylan fan club invitation card.

(e)           The album comes with its unique Japanese "OBI" strip (sash)

(f)            The records are STILL in their original inner, hi-grade Sony (Japan) PVC stock inner sleeves, which have - apparently with success - shielded the vinyl from the harmful impact of elements over many years!

(g)          The records are pressed on a beautiful, high-quality, virgin-grade vinyl, which is usually used for audiophile, extended-dynamic-range, half-speed mastered and connoisseur pressings.

(h)           In addition, the records are pressed on a RELATIVELY  thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type),  vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl, either.

(i)             Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        Cover has a light "wrinkle" (crease)  in one of the corners.

-        Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the seams   (nothing significant)

-         Minor shelf wear noted on the seams (nothing significant)

-         Cover has two corners slightly worn / dinged  (nothing significant)
