BOB DYLAN – MIXED UP CONFUSION b/w CORRINA, CORRINA – Columbia 4-42656 (U.S. 45 rpm Mono). Disc is borderline G+/VG- in appearance; playback is VG+ (but read below for full disclosure of disc condition); Labels are VG+.
Released December 14, 1962, this is Label Variant No. 1 (with “Produced by John Hammond” above Columbia Eye Logo on left hand side) and is considered quite rare. This is the original Mono version, different from that appearing on Biograph, which is in Stereo. The version of Corrina, Corrina found here is an alternate take to that from the Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan LP or CD. Label variations of this single are numerous. PLEASE NOTE: This disc has a crack running the length of the disc. It is playable, but does emit a click every time the stylus passes the crack. Buyer should be fully aware of this defect and item cannot be exchanged, thus the super low introductory price. [Due to their faster turning speed and wider groove spread, 45 rpm pressings exhibit more detailed playback than LP pressings, which turn slower and feature more compacted groove spread.]
All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.
