NEW ZEALAND CBS (S3BP 220502) FIRST PRESSING (March 1978) OF DYLAN'S "Masterpieces"
This three-LP set was only released in Japan, Australia and New Zealand in anticipation of his 1978 tour.
Primarily a greatest hits collection spanning Dylan's career up that point, the album features one previously unreleased track, a 1962 outtake version of "Mixed-Up Confusion".
But also includes several rarities; a live performance of "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" from Dylan's 1966 World Tour, which was first released as the B-side of his 1966 "I Want You" single, "Spanish Is The Loving Tongue" the B-side of the 1971 "Watching the River Flow" single, "George Jackson" a single from 1971 and "Rita May" another obscure single from 1976
