Among the rarest of all Bob Dylan collectibles, this White Label, Black Vinyl Promo Only issue promoting Bob’s first truly successful single, taken from the Bringing It All Back Home LP, was initially distributed to DJ’s only with this black & white Picture Sleeve. The sleeve was never reproduced commercially and subsequent promo issues were sent to DJs without the sleeve. The front side of the sleeve features a cropped head shot from the photo sessions for Dylan’s previous album, Another Side of Bob Dylan. The rear sleeve features a reproduction of the famous Ray Coleman article from the January 8, 1965 British publication, Melody Maker, wherein the Beatles laud Bob. Regardless of condition, this is an extremely rare and highly sought after item among Dylan collectors. [Due to their faster turning speed and wider groove spread, 45 rpm pressings exhibit more detailed playback than LP pressings, which turn slower and feature more compacted groove spread.]

All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.
