New seller, old records. Up for auction is a so-so copy of BOB DYLAN's 1st LP titled "BOB DYLAN" often referred to as the "NEW STAR ON COLUMBIA" due to the silver colored STAR STICKER on front cover, along with the "PROMO" STICKER on Center Label and "DEMONSTRATION" NOT FOR SALE Stamp on back cover. Reportedly I read somewhere that 3000 copies of this MONO LP were produced, along with 500 STEREO copies, but I have no way to confirm or deny this figure. 12" 33rpm Vinyl Record Album is VERY GOOD (VG) due to some scuffs, scrapes, tics and light surface noise. Outer cover jacket has major "cat-clawing" along half or more of spline length, some front cover ring transfer wear, grades VG

Visually vinyl record album has a number of scuffs, light scrapes, various small scratches and hairlines. Plays with some light tics to repeated tics in sections, some surface noise in parts, and clear and crisp in other parts. A VG grading is about average for this one. Center label has name written with ink pen on one side of center label, typical "red smudge" mark on flip side of label, otherwise center labels are clean, brightly colored with sharp center-holes and barely visible spindle marks near center hole. Good, bad and kinda rare for Dylan.
Outer cover jacket has quite noticeable claw-marks at top half of spline, some record to record ring wear transfer on front cover, name with ink pen at top left corner, some cover corner damage at top left, dent and wear in all four corners, wear along top and bottom seams (not broken-just wear marks. Silver colored NEW STAR STICKER has a crease in center of sticker, decently clean and clear looking back cover with nice red colored "DEMONSTRATION" Stamp. Overall cover is decent when placed in a clear poly outer bag, Grades VERY GOOD at best. Cover condition mostly matches vinyl record condition. Includes a clean and crisp looking heavy blue striped factory inner sleeve.
With respect to the pressing numbers of 3000 for mono and 500 for stereo, I noticed that information on a STEREO DYLAN LP listed on Popsike. There is great information and photographs regarding this pressing listed on a website under google search "Audio Mono LPs Bob Dylan"
