Description
Royal Albert Hall 1966 "bootleg" from Bob Dylan and The Band. Released on The Swingin' Pig label in 1989. Back cover states these performances - eight in total - were from a live concert on May 27, 1966. As with all Swingin Pig releases the design is awesome and of the highest quality. The front cover is excellent to mint with a psychedelic theme in black and red with Dylan's face in the middle. There is some creasing as you would expect but it's largely hidden in the design/colour. The rear cover is excellent to mint also, the same with the spine with minimal scuff marks and creasing evident. The inner picture sleeves are mint. The white vinyl contrasts beautifully with the black labels. Again, to the naked eye the discs and labels are mint. Checking revealed no jumps indicating no scratches. There is some crackle audible but nothing a thorough clean I'm sure will fix as the record has been in storage for 20+ years and been unplayed for that length of time. Though a beautiful item I have necessarily reflected this in the low starting price. Any questions please ask. The record will be posted out in a proper record mailer for safe keeping. This album is rare and its design on top of the music it contains makes it very special to both fan and collector alike. That's why it's got to go (reluctantly) to auction.
