This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING ALBUM by BOB DYLAN & THE BAND- "THE BASEMENT TAPES" from 1975, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION AND A MUST !!! TEST PRESSING ALBUMS were very limited and were only made in VERY SMALL QUANTITY and sent to major industry people, THIS COPY COMES FROM A MAJOR RADIO PERSON who worked in one of the leading music radio stations in the UK from the late 60's to the early 90's, all the TEST PRESSING I HAVE LISTED THIS WEEK ARE GUARANEED ORIGINAL !!! This TEST PRESSING is the TEST PRESSING to RECORD 2 of the album, but the radio person who had it said that is how it came, I assume there was never any test pressings of RECORD 1 as from what I found on the net the only other example of this test pressing was also of RECORD 2 only (check known websites for details). This TEST PRESSING never came in a picture sleeve (as these were made way before the sleeves were printed !!) but comes with the ORIGINAL WHITE SLEEVE WITH HAND WRITTEN DETAILS ON and THE ORIGINAL CBS INFORMATION SHEET !!! The TEST PRESSING was pressed by the CBS RECORDS catalogue number CBS S 88147. The matrix numbers are: SIDE 1: CBS-S-88147-C1 and 80918-A1 both MACHINE STAMPED, SIDE 2: CBS-S-88147-D1 and 80918-B1 both MACHINE STAMPED . The condition is: VINYL is in MINT- condition (PLAYED ONCE, writting on labels as seen in the photos), INFORMATION SHEET is in VG+ condition (some writing on it, corrections and timing, and folded as was done originally), ORIGINAL WHITE HAND WRITTEN CARDBOARD SLEEVE is in VG+ condition. DON'T LET THIS RARE ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING BOB DYLAN & THE BAND ALBUM get away as you might NEVER see another one soon, especially in this NEAR MINT condition.
