GRAB A BARGAIN!!!!
Here we have a very rare 1965 Singapore pressing of this classic album. Originally I though this was a USA press (as stated on the bottom of the back cover) but was struggling to find out exactly what pressing it was. I received some very helpful messages from another Ebay user who pointed out this was not actually an American press, but rather a press from 1965, made in Singapore.
From the information I could gather, these albums have "PRINTED IN USA" along the bottom of the rear sleeve, as the sleeves were imported from America. The sleeve of this copy is virtually identical to the US stereo release, although it has "© CBS RECORDS 1963" along the bottom line of text, as opposed to normal USA sleeves which feature "COLUMBIA". There is no country of origin on the record labels, but they were probably printed locally. The labels have the US red "360º SOUND" design with three CBS logos, and also has "NONBREAKABLE" on each label, and the album title is printed slightly higher on Side 2.
MATRIX NUMBERS:
SIDE ONE: (Etched/Handwritten) XSM 58719 8927
SIDE TWO: (Etched/Handwritten) XSM 58720 8928
I've been informed these pressings are a lot rarer than the USA presses, especially in as good a condition as this copy, so I hope I've provided all the necessary information. Any questions please feel free to get in touch.
Sleeve Condition – VERY GOOD+ – This sleeve is in excellent condition! Nice sturdy card sleeve with nice bright artwork and strong, crisp edges and spine. There is some light evidence of handling/age but nothing really serious! It could be improved with a bit of a clean. I'm struggling to find out exactly what year this release is from. I can't find and info about this pressing on discogs.
Record Condition – VERY GOOD – The record appears to be in really good condition! Nice black sheen off both sides. I can see a few light hair/sleeve lines, but these appear to superficial and shouldn't have any affect on play! This copy should play and sound really good! I can see a little dust on there so I recommend a quick clean before playing, just to further improve sound.
POSTAGE INFORMATION – PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT!
I will happily post anywhere in the world at the buyers expense. Due to Ebay restricting the postage options available, postage to USA, Canada, Asia, Australia, New Zealand & South America will cost slightly more than the international rate shown.
If you would like special delivery or signed for then no problem. Please note that any buyers outside Europe, or requests for special delivery/signed for PLEASE WAIT UNTIL INVOICE IS AMENDED WITH THE CORRECT POSTAGE COST BEFORE PAYING.
Anything else I can help with feel free to send me a message!
