This is an original copy of the banned 1977 album titled "Bob Dylan Vs. A.J. Weberman: The Historic Confrontation" issued on Folkways Records.  Weberman was a american writer and political activist famous for his deep analysis and critique of the songs and art of Bob Dylan. This album features two January, 1971 telephone conversations Dylan had with Weberman, where they argue about Dylan's music, songwriting, and similar subjects. The album was withdrawn by Folkways a few days after release for legal reasons and is nowadays very rare. Comes with the original 8 page booklet in which Weberman analyzes Dylan's music. Also features David Peel singing "A.J. Weberman" and Grace Slick's with "Father Bruce. Also, stickered on the white inner there is a small piece cut from an italian magazine telling that CBS sued Folkaways for six billions of (then) Italian liras !! I think this is of historical significance too and I didn't remove it.
CONDITIONS: ex+/m- from strict Record Collector grading (cover graded first) Cover is nice, no tears, seam splits or mayor damage, same goes for the booklet. The record was, I think, unplayed (I played it because I was curious - the guy who owned this in Italy I think he could not understand a word and bought it just because it was a collector's piece.) neverthless you can hear some background noise over the words, it's inevitable. Has the fainties removal scuffs.
