Regarded by critics as one of the top reggae albums ever recorded, the first 20,000 Catch a Fire albums were released in a sleeve depicting a Zippo lighter, but Marley preferred the artwork of this cover which featured a portrait of him smoking a "spliff," and with the album credited to "Bob Marley and the Wailers.” He was a comitted rastafarian whose music included social commentary and spiritualism.
