Probably among the rarest items for the Bob Marley and reggae collector, the first LP by the Wailers on Island was originally released in around 20000 copies in a delicate flip-top opening Zippo lighter cover. Most copies used to have the top side easily broken or detached from the bottom, so the distinctive packaging was replaced by a conventional single cover with a Bob Marley picture.
This is one of these original copies, the cover has general wear but the riveted opening on the left side is still working and in very good condition.
Vinyl plays with some surface noise and can be graded as Very Good+. On pink rim palm Island label, original UK pressing.
