BOB MARLEY & WAILERS LP CATCH A FIRE (Island Records SW 9329). Released 1973.
Remarkable inventive cover design!! Still in shrink wrap!! Original US stereo pressing with the cover in the shape of a Zippo lighter. The two halves of the lighter are unjoined-no longer attached at the swivel. It's a fairly tidy break without too much fraying. On the original vintage pink-rimmed Island label. Peter Tosh here named Peter Mackintoch. Also with Bunny Livingstone, Carlton Barrett & Aston Barrett. Album commences with "Concrete Jungle."

No seam splits, stains, tape, creases, water damage, cut-out marks, price tags, or stickers on the cover. No ring wear or indentation; no rubbing or speckling. Nice flat jacket with no bends, ripples, waves or bows. Deep rich unfaded colors. Hardly any corner banging. A little bit of crinkling and fraying around the detached swivel, but that still look well acceptable to my eyes. The print is all sharp, still intact & undisturbed. Small amount of sticker residue should be easy to remove.The label is flawless with no marks, scuffs, stains or writing. Sharp-cut hole free of spindle brushings.
DISC - VG++
Some surface scuffs, but no scratches of substance. No stains, skips, warping or residue on the disc or dead wax. A little faint inaudible streaking. The platter surface has a nice reflective sheen. This artifact has been safely stored upright in climate-controlled conditions.
