Description
The Wailers - Catch A Fire
Original UK Pressed LP with Zippo sleeve released by Island Records in 1973.
Sleeve is in excellent overall condition - a few minor wear marks around the edges with the only major flaw as shown on the photographs where the edging near the hinge is worn.
The hinged mechanism itself on the Zippo lid is fully intact and working.
The vinyl is in excellent condition,free of any scratches and still maintains a clear highly lacquered appearance as shown on the photographs.
Visually there is a visible surface mark running along the grooves on track one but this is a pressing / cutting cosmetic visual mark which does not affect the playback.
I have played both sides of the album throughout on quality audiophile equipment and can confirm it plays excellently with very minimal - if any - surface noise, cackling or popping - really superb playback.
Soft lined inner sleeve is in good condition with some discolouration along edges.
This record is from my own collection and has been owned and carefully looked after from new and played on quality equipment.
I am not a dealer just selling some items which may be of interest to collectors.
A rare opportunity to by this album where the condition of the vinyl and the cover make it a superb example for the serious collector who only wants high grade vinyl and sleeves.

Having researched current and historic prices I believe this copy is worth a serious collectors attention and have set an opening bid price accordingly.
