VERY RARE
"CATCH A FIRE" LP
in ZIPPO lighter cover
1973 1st UK pressing on the
pink rim 'palm tree' ISLAND Label ILPS 9241 A-3U/B-4U 1st Pressing Matrix Numbers Cover: Robor manufactured 1st UK unlaminated pressing 'Zippo' lighter style cover. There are no missing pieces. The rivet works perfectly so that the top of the cover lifts up and down effortlessly. Has a small name in top right corner of rear cover. No other writings or doodles. There is some significant edge/spine wear. Rates as VG+ to Near Excellent - especially as these covers are very fragile. See photos. Vinyl: Play tested. Heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Looks VG and and plays VG+. No skips/jumps. Some light crackle in quiet places/between tracks and the odd click/pop. Certainly nothing to spoil the enjoyment of this landmark LP. Sounds great. Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
