On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Wailers (& Bob Marley) called 'Catch A Fire' and is a MEGA rare UK 1972 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Island label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 1972 1ST PRESSING - WITH 'ZIPPO LIGHTER' COVER & 1ST PRESS PINK ISLAND 'PALM TREE' LABEL!!!!  THIS LP HAS ONE OF THE MOST FRAGILE AND EASILY DAMAGED COVERS EVER MADE AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND COMPLETE!!!!  THE COVER (SEE PICTURE) WAS MADE IN THE SHAPE OF A 'ZIPPO' LIGHTER AND THE TOP PART OF THE COVER WAS ONLY HINGED BY A SINGLE RIVIET IN ONE HINGE.  NATURALLY MOST OF THESE COVERS OVER THE YEARS HAVE BECOME BADLY DAMAGED AND HAVE OFTEN COMPLETELY LOST THEIR TOP PART.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  THIS ONE IS 100% COMPLETE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE ALL IMPORTANT RIVIET HINGE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1972 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ISLAND LABEL, 1ST PRESS ISLAND INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'ZIPPO LIGHTER' COVER ORIGINAL FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!!  INCIDENTALLY - THE INNER SLEEVE IS A TURQUOISE ISLAND ONE (CORRECT FOR THE 1972 DATE) - AND I PRESUME THIS IS THE CORRECT SLEEVE (IT ALSO FITS THE COVER PERFECTLY WITH THE TOP SHUT).  THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 1st pressing from 1972 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ILPS 9241 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing (apart from an absolutely TINY set of initials on one label), NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 TINY hairline (only visible under EXTREME light), 1 MEGA light wispy hairline, 1 light scuffline, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with only a VERY few light clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and only the occassional touch of VERY light VERY low level crackle in a few places!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion, and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE 'Zippo Lighter' 1st Press Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! As mentioned earlier - the Zippo cover is in PERFECT working order and this is SERIOUSLY RARE on this LP!!!!  The cover has some VERY slight unnoticeable darkening/wear to the edges (NO splits, NO nasty heavy 'fluffy' wear), only slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), some VERY light general rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering and the 'hidden' lighter part is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, only an absolutely TINY patch of wear (NOT through the colour), and NO yellowing!!!!  It is amazing how this fragile cover has survived in this COMPLETE condition - and this really is in BRILLIANT condition - especially when you consider how fragile the cover is!!!!  However I will NOT compensate on grading just because the cover is this fragile and grade it EXACTLY as any other.  The cover must STRICTLY grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - though most would grade higher!!!! And please DONT think this cover is 'trashed' or 'terribly worn' - it is NOT.  THIS LP IS ONE OF THE RAREST BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS LPS, AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
