THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'PROMOTIONAL COPY', WITH A 'PRE-RELEASE' PRESS PACK!!!!  ACCORDING TO THE ONE PREVIOUS OWNER - IT ORIGINALLY ALSO HAD A 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER ON THE COVER, BUT THE COVER WAS MADE 'SHINY' FROM NEW - AND IT FELL OFF THE COVER ALMOST AS SOON AS HE RECIEVED THE LP.  THE ULTRA RARE 'PROMOTIONAL ONLY' PRESS PACK CONSISTS OF:-

1) A LEAFLET FROM ISLAND RECORDS DETAILING THE TRACKS ON THE LP, THE RELEASE DATE, AND ALSO THE CONTACT DETAILS FOR ISLAND (PEOPLE TO CONTACT, PHONE NUMBER & ADDRESS).

2) A HUGE 6 PAGE STAPLED PAMPHLET DETAILING THE FULL HISTORY OF BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS FROM HIS BIRTH (FEBRUARY 6TH 1945) THROUGH THE PRESENT DAY (IN THIS CASE 1983).  THIS PAMPHLET ALSO DETAILS WHERE HE WAS BORN AND LIVED, HIS MUSIC THROUGHOUT (EARLY 1960s THROUGH TO THE 1980s), WHICH REGGAE / SKA PRODUCERS & RECORD LABELS HE RECORDED WITH IN THE 1960s, CONCERTS HE PLAYED, AND HIS HEALTH / TREATMENT AND HOW HE DIED ON MAY 11TH 1981.  SO CLEARLY A LOT OF RESEARCH WENT INTO THIS VERY IMPORTANT PROMOTIONAL DOCUMENT!!!!

3) A PHOTO OF BOB MARLEY TAKEN BY ADRIAN BOOT.

BARELY ANY COPIES OF THIS LP CAN POSSIBLY EXIST LIKE THIS NOW.  IT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST BOB MARLEY LPs EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!!  IT IS IN FACT, ALMOST CERTAINLY UNIQUE - AND THE CHANCES OF EVER GETTING ANOTHER ONE AGAIN IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1983 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ISLAND / TUFF GONG LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'ISLAND' INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'PROMOTIONAL' PRESS PACK, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island / Tuff Gong UK 1st Pressing from 1983 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is ILPS 9760 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island / Tuff Gong Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in MINT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  EVEN UNDER THE CLOSEST SCRUTINY - YOU CAN SEE ABSOLUTELY NO SPINDLE MARKS AT ALL, CLEARLY SHOWING THAT THIS RECORD HAS NEVER EVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL (apart from my 1 undetectable 'test play')!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these Reggae LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Unfortunately due to the STUPID internally 'rough' Island inner sleeve - there are a few surface traces, simply from sitting inside the inner.  I still do not understand why record companies from this period consistently made inner sleeves that were actually ROUGH inside!!!!  Of course, this record has been transferred to a soft plain poly lined inner - and the original inner will be sent with the LP.  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Island Inner Sleeve which is in SUPERB condition - and UNSPLIT!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 'PRESS PACK' IS IN AWESOME CONDITION - WITH ALL THREE PARTS NEVER LEAVING THE COVER SINCE THE DAY THIS LP WAS RECIEVED FROM THE FACTORY BACK IN 1983!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO spinal wear (PERFECT side words!), NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO edge wear (apart from some VERY minor roughening to the top back edge), NO ringwear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO splits, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rips, NO tears, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
