Original Belgian pressing from late 1970's

RARE ORIGINAL BELGIAN PRESSING of BOB PORTER'S "MUSIQUE CONTEMPORAINE, RYTHMEE ET IMPROVISEE" LP on Selection Library (Cat. #LP 6142). Truly incredible jazz/funk session on the very rare Selection imprint with top-notch musicianship and not just a one-tracker here either... this LP really cracks from start to finish. Aside from the consistency of the music itself, the tracks are also longer then your standard 2 to 3 minute library fare in this style... the four best tracks are all 5 to 6 minutes long. I'm surprised this isn't more well known but that may very well be due to the scarcity of these Selection titles. Highlights here are 'Mindanao', 'Waking Up at Sunset', 'Home Made Soup' and 'Sky Base'.
