BOB and RAY on ULTRA RARE 12-inch 1952 WBZ Radio Reference Recording Acetate
Westinghouse WBZ Boston No. 32, 12-inch, 78 RPM Acetate Reference Recording
Record is in V++ condition, plays quite nicely over mostly light surface noise. Labels are good, typewritten.
"Ray" is misspelled as "Rae" on both labels.

1952 issue; recorded in Boston, Massachusetts, July 12, 1952.
Bob and Ray had moved their show from Boston to New York in 1951, a year before this was recorded. On this recording they hook up with their old Boston announcer, Leo Egan, and refer to an event coming up in two days at Fenway Park. They also speak with several Boston newspaper reporters, with their usual deadpan humor, both in and out of several of their famous characters, including Mary McGoon, Webley Webster, Wally Ballou and others. Great stuff!
