BOBBY CAPO
With Violeta Rivas And Los 4 De Lujo
(Both Songs Sung In Spanish)
SIDE A: LLORANDO ME DORMI
SIDE B: COCODRILO
MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original RCA Victor Records very first Mono press released, made and distributed in Chile in 1960 by RCA Victor Records, catalog number 94-0288, with machine etched matrix numbers 94-0288-A R1 in Side A and 94-0288-B R1 in Side B, with traditional black/silver RCA Victor Records labels with colored dog logo at top and 3-prong push-out center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!
“Llorando Me Dormí” (“I fell Asleep Crying” in English) was originally released in Argentina early 1960 and the same year we could see this successful single by Puerto Rican singer Bobby Capó released here in Chile. Song titles are written in Spanish only, with full credits for Bobby Capó as songwriter and for accompaniment by Argentinian singer Violeta Rivas and band Los 4 De Lujo, with additional information about the tax law applicable in Chile, the styke of music of each song, “Rock” the Side A and “Guaracha” the Side B, and play time of each song, with the price, “E° 1,26”, printed in Side A. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE CHILEAN ISSUE of this single “Llorando Me Dormí” by Bobby Capó, a record almost never seen and maybe auctioned here in eBay by the very first time. WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Bobby Capó, Violeta Rivas, Los 4 De Lujo and early days of Latin Rock’N’Roll and Cumbia/Guaracha music!!!
This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG+ or EX- condition both sides, glossy and clean, but with many soft scuffs and hairlines, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in EX+ or even NM- condition both sides, clear and clean, with some spindle hole wear, factory micro tears and very faint blemishes, almost impossible to see at first sight. The sound is in strong EX- or EX condition the Side A, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with occasional soft crackles and some hiss here and there, and in VG+ and EX- condition the Side B, almost same condition as Side A, with some pops instead of hiss, which don’t cause major distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS, maybe not for the strictest Minty minds or audiophiles, but with still a very nice glossy look, almost immaculate labels and great sound quality after about 61 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the label of rarity of this Chilean single!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

___________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
