Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on: TITLE & ARTIST: "I Fought the Law" - by The Bobby Fuller Four on the Mustang Records label (M - 901), in original mono sound, released in 1966. CONDITION: JACKET - VG+ (Jacket has edge and corner wear, plus some sort of liquid stain along the bottom edge on back; there is a ding in the lower right front corner, but the front cover is otherwise unmarked - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - VG+ (Mustang Record's has many light scuffs and scratches, but these are virtually inaudible as I listen now to the recording on my Rega turntable; the sound is so rich and dense that it's almost like Spector's Wall of Sound - Visually Graded under custom spotlight). SPECIAL FEATURES: Very rare '60s rock classic album, from the man most considered Buddy Holly's best descendant. It's amazing how good every song on this record sounds, way beyond just "I Fought the Law" which is an awesome track. Visually it's a VG+, but aurally it's Near Mint. The only time I hear any "record noise" is between tracks, and then only lightly. TRACKS: Let Her Dance, Julie, A New Shade of Blue, Only When I Dream, You Kiss Me, Little Annie Lou, I Fought the Law, Another Sad and Lonely Night, Saturday Night, Take My Word, Fool of Love and Never to Be Forgotten. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
