Description

Welcome to this week's auction list of several hundred soul, funk, boogie, R&B, doo-wop, blues, funky/spiritual/free jazz, gospel, etc. LPs. Link to the rest of the list is here: chriscarnahan2

Condition: VG/VG- (no flaking or cracks to the acetate -- does play with some crackle/surface noise from the embedded dust/dirt commonly found on acetates)

Pressing Details/Additional Contents: Unreleased 4-song Bobby Lyle Audiodisc 12" acetate from 1964. Total duration is around 29 minutes. Also included is a letter & envelope (w/ Blue Note letterhead) from company executive Francis Wolff requesting tapes or an acetate on referral from Bill Dowdy, drummer of the Three Sounds.








Records have been cleaned on a VPI and will be shipped outside of their jackets & inside a plastic outer sleeve to prevent seam splitting. Brand new mailers w/ sufficient filler pads will also be used.

The records are visually graded using the following grading scale: NM, VG++, VG+,  VG,  VG-,  G+,  G,  F,  P
