Description
BOBBY MONTEZ - "Jungle Fantastique". Original 1958 USA pressing on Jubilee Records #JLP-1085 (FIRST PRESSING - deep groove label, Long Play at bottom). A very desirable (and fairly scarce) LP which, when it turns up, usually isn't in top shape. Hot Afro-Cuban jazz/ exotica stuff, with a striking cover.
This is your top copy. Cover is Near Mint. No writing, stamps, stickers, tears, etc. And no cutout marks. The only thing remotely negative I can say is that when you remove the record, the cover has a slight overall bend from one end to the other. But, the white back cover is clean with no foxing or fading, the front cover is especially clean; and no seam splits. Labels are Near Mint. Record is NM; from the appearance of the grooves (and checking the label..) I think it was unplayed. However one side has two small hairline surface 'barely there' marks,. so you could arguably call that side NM- (with the other being NM). Full gleaming original gloss. I doubt a better copy exists. (It might sound like I'm hyping this mercilessly.. but wait until you see it!)
