Up for auction is a MONSTER RARE Tejano LP by BOBBY NARANJO Y DIRECCION, titled PUT ME IN JAIL...recorded in 1984 on the HACIENDA Records label. This is one of the rarest Tejano LP's on the planet...PERIOD! The legendary Jesse Serrata sings lead, and he is at his very best on this LP. Jesse does an awesome job on all of the tunes, but wait til you hear his rendition of PUT ME IN JAIL...a killer song! And the sax solo in the background on this tune is sensational...what an incredible arrangement on a tune that Sunny Ozuna wrote and made a huge hit out of!
Yes, I know that this is a Tejano LP, but the English tunes PUT ME IN JAIL, and Mickey Gilley's classic THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS are the perfect combination of songs that showcase the superb talent that these guys had as a group...pretty special stuff!
The jacket receives a grade of NM-. The sound receives a grade of NEAR MINT...I guarantee you that you will love the sensational sound on this rare LP! Not much else to say, except that this treasure belongs in an important Tejano genre vinyl record collection!
