BOOBY SHERWOOD: WHO WOULDN'T LOVE YOU/ELK'S PARADE/HARLEN BUTTERFLY- unique 10-inch aircheck acetate dated June 10 and June 13, 1942 from the Casa Manana over KHJ Los Angeles. First side recorded at 33, the flip at 78. Disc has complete live renditions of "Who Wouldn't Love You" (possibly Kitty Kallen on vocal), an inspired extended version of "Elk's Parade" and the Bobbettes vocal group singing "St Louis Blues" On the other side, Johnny Mercer's "Harlem Butterfly" (vocal & trumpet by Sherwood). E condition, clean with very good fidelity! There is some hiss on the first part of "Who Wouldn't Love You" which gradually subsides completely.
