Buddy Holly hits covered by Late 50's/ Early 60's icon Bobby Vee. True to form these rock n' roll renditions is a very 1st pressing having machine stamped codes and 1A and 1R In the centre run - out's - which makes it one out of the first 900 pressed and into the record stores in 1963!

The Sleeve: In  Excellent condition.   Garrod & Lofthouse printed flip-back original.  All text legible and pictorials clear and glossy and has held original colours well. The front and rear panels are smooth, glossy and clean with clear print and unblemished iconic front pictorial. Hard to make any criticisms, has survived exceptionally well for a 54 year old sleeve. Very clean and neat.

The length of the spine is complete without any fraying, and all original title and catalogue number text is legible. The sleeve is firm and flat and intact along all edges.

There are no rips or splits anywhere. All edges are straight and free of any storage wear. The sleeve is sturdy, firm and clean.

Inner Sleeve: Very Good  condition original inner sleeve.... Still sturdy and holds the vinyl well. Some deep creasing but overall very fine condition for an original. Interior and exterior is completely intact at all seams.

The Vinyl: The vinyl surfaces are Very Good Plus. Both sides have no feelable or deep scratches, and no surface marks but there are a few wispy sleeve insertion trails, and feint hairlines here and ther but not obtrusive And only seen under light. Overall much better than average condition and there is nothing worrying and no marks to the very clean and glossy surface. There are no scuffs or warps or dinks in the vinyl or anything that causes any interference to the audio, the black pressing sheen is all over with no dulling. The record has received a moderate of amount plays commensurate with age and is in well over average and respectable condition and has to be inspected near bright light to see any light blemishes.  For such an early and hard to obtain pressing of this LP, the condition is superb.

The record lays completely flat on the turntable.

Robust heavy early vinyl pressing at around 175 grams.

Labels: Very Good Plus and very neat. All text is clear and bright backgound, the perimeter area around the spindle location is neat with no noticeable wear to the perimeter of the spindle location, and there are spindle line traces to see in normal light but don't reach too far out,

1st Mothers and 2nd and 3rd Stampers - i.e. One out of the first 900 pressed.

The Audio: The audio grades at Excellent Minus/ Excellent. The LP plays throughout clearly on both sides, with no pops, no background noises such as crackle or hiss, and there are no skips/jumps or sticks. There are a few light audible ticks, but only where to be expected i.e. some quieter interludes and dead-wax grooves preceding and succeeding a few of the songs but only really noticeable on those near the start of each side. Plays through very clearly and on the whole without surface noise and certainly no interruptions. The mono bass is deep with no feedback or hiss, and the vocals are crisp and clear.

This LP will be securely delivered in a professional cardboard mailer.

New plain generic poly-lined inner sleeve will house the record, and the original will be placed separately.

A new protective gatefold PVC 180 gsm gatefold sleeve is included as shown to house the LP.

This White Album will be delivered by recorded delivery in the UK.

Overseas postage will be tracked all the way and a tracking number given.
