El Barrio Spanish Harlem native Bodega Bamz’s breakthrough mixtape Strictly For My P.A.P.I.Z dropped in 2012 during the ‘New, New York’ movement, when the next generation of East Coast talent - A$AP Rocky and the rest of the Mob, Joey Badass and the Pro Era crew, Action Bronson - were moving from the underground to the mainstream. What sets Bodega apart from his peers is how uncompromisingly Latino he is; part Puerto Rican and Dominican, the tape is littered with Spanish slang, lyrics and samples.
Now, the collection - which features guest spots from A$AP Ferg and Flatbush Zombies - is receiving its first vinyl release! The double-LP is pressed on transparent tan vinyl, and each copy is hand-numbered.
