BODKIN - Bodkin REISSUE Akarma LP AK 125 (ITALY, 2000)
Happy to present this lavish reissue for one of the rarest prog LP’s of the early 70’s Bodkin’s killer heavy doom prog masterpiece! I won’t try and describe the sleeve for you, just take a look at the photos it’s huge!!! When completely unfolded the cross is epic!
The outer foldout sleeve is in strong VG+ condition, the edges show some rubbing and the corners have taken some knocks resulting in all four being slightly blunted. Hardly any of this is noticeable when you fold out this massive design.
The LP sleeve proper shows no creases, writing, feathering or tears but has a 3-inch split to the top edge and a smaller split to the bottom edge (probably because the vinyl inside is so mega-heavy!! Still looks great and flat but combine a little rubbing to the spine and I’m going a true VG.
The vinyl is housed in a die-cut plain white inner and looks barely played. One light hairline is all I picked up. Looks Minimum EX, probably + and plays the same too. Labels are also fine.
Hats off to Akarma for recreating the early 70’s spirit for outrageous sleeve designs. This is the daddy! Don’t miss!
