‘SILVER-GOLD’ is the translation of this obscure B-film called: CHANDI SONA, one of the hard to find Burmans. And it lives up to it’s title! Contains one of Burman’s ultimate instrumentals. A wild tribal psych percussion track which surpasses just anything you have heard before….Funky tuned percussion, weirded out beat. Tribal screaming, Indian ladies doo-be-dooing, wild guitars and even wilder horns, and last but not least the wicked moog of Kersi Lord of course! Genuine, unsurpassed Burman wildness.
More! A seven minutes long track, with a long cool intro with Hindi dialog & many strange soundeffect, creating a strange psychedelic atmosphere…Even Dark side of the moon is passing by! Weird, intricate Burman percussion, and then Sexy Asha on top of a groovy beat, the psychedelic soundscapes now & then returning. More strange backward-played-tapes & moog effects. Beautiful song. One of Burman's best scores!
India 1976 Sleeve strong VG+ record VG++ (few light surface marks) sounds VERY clean.
