OTHER DETAILS - an original 1977 10-track vinyl LP on the Phillips label (blue/grey labels) in gatefold cover, with lyrics printed on the inside of the sleeve. Comes with paper inner advertising other releases on the label. Although not stated on the labels, I think this may have been a Swedish release.

Rare Jazz/Funk/Soul album with female vocals. 'Bombey' is Lars Beijbom who also played with people such as Gary Burton and Michael Gibbs. 'Horn' is vocalist Maritza Horn who had been recording since the late 1960s and who even appeared as a singer in "Abba - The Movie".

CONDITION

COVER - VG+ condition

• a little minor edge wear here and there
• slight outer rim wear by top and bottom
• very small 'spot' below the S of the word 'Subway' (bottom left)
• very slight corner wear
• overall, all minor and far closer to EX than to VG!

• both sides clean, with just the odd very light 'hairline' surface mark only.
• the lack of spindle traces on either label suggests that this has hardly been played and the odd very light 'hairline' is a result of the rather thick paper inner - so I have now transferred the LP to a new paper inner.

Please note that all vinyl is visually graded under a bright halogen bulb - it is only play-graded if specifically stated above. If there is a noticeable surface mark or light scratch, it may say 'not affecting play' above, in which case the record has obviously been played.

GRADING

NEW: Just that. Note that an item will only be factory sealed/shrinkwrapped if it says so in the description.

NEAR MINT: The record itself is in 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are also in 'as new' condition. (please note that I will NEVER use the MINT grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade I will use will be NM (Near Mint) as even a new record/CD can have a tiny fault if you look hard enough! If an item is NEW I will say so.)

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc.
