Frankie Bones doesn't get the same level of attention and adoration as many of his early techno peers, but there is no real reason why that should be so. You will likely already know his MO in the studio and the booth, but if not, this timely selection of no-frills, high-impact cuts designed purely for getting off your nut in a dark space should do the trick. 'Let's Get This Str8' is a manic and loopy cut for unhinged and strobe-lit madness, 'Crystal Clear' is sparse, pinging kicks and textured claps and 'The Anthem' brings clanging hits and rolling drums that come on like a wall of terror. 'Energy Rush' is a prickly and kinetic sound that rocks back and forth on its heels with unrelenting techno funk.
