Description
[Item Description] Duet soprano & baritone with orchestra
Celestina Boninsegna (Soprano b.1877-d.1947) Studied at the Liceo Rossini in Pesaro with Virgina Boccabadati. The records of the artist preserve one of the most beautiful soprano voices of her epoch, both in the thorough musical training and in the variety of nuances which her voice shows.
Francesco Cigada,Baritone (1878-1966) made his debut in Trieste. He sang in Rome between 1906 and 1908. He sang robust roles, including some Wagnerian roles, along with the Count di Luna, Iago, Scarpia, Marcello, Amonasro, Sharpless and Rigoletto. He retired relatively young, at 45.
