CONDITION:        I strive to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.  I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!    All records are checked in good light and play tested at a loud volume (unless described as sealed, brand new or stated otherwise).       STRICT   U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.  See below for the full definitions as provided by Record Collector magazine. 

Playing condition is graded as at least EX-  for side1, with the majority of the side actually playing better than this.  Only noticeable background surface noise is during the very quiet into to ‘We Are Normal’ and even that in no way smothers the sound recording.    Most of the side plays really clear and interference free.     Sound quality continues on side2, where it’s hard not to grade any lower than EX.   Any surface noise is so minimal and low in the mix, that it’s barely noticeable.   If buying to play, please buy with confidence that you’re getting a great sounding record.      NO loud crackle,   NO distortion,   NO loud repetitive pops/clicks,   NO jumps,   NO sticking.   

Visually the vinyl is in at least EX- condition, if not better.   Only a small number of surface-only marks - nothing that feels to the touch.   Vinyl looks nice and clean and still retains its original sheen.  Record has clearly been looked after. 

Labels are VG+.   Spindle marks evident on both sides.   NO tears.   NO writing.   NO stickers.

Sleeve is VG-.   This grade is due to the fact that a name and date have been written on the back and inside the gatefold (SEE PHOTOS).   Other than this, some edge and corner wear, sleeve is still in great shape.  Spine text still clearly readable.    NO seam splits.   NO tears.   NO stickers.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System  - VINYL

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
